About Female Ventures
Female Ventures is a nonprofit professional growth platform dedicated to advancing women’s careers and
leadership across the Netherlands.
Our cross-generational, cross-sector community brings together over 2,500 professionals. Powered by
passionate volunteers, we provide mentoring, professional development and networking opportunities
through national programs and five local city teams.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, action-oriented leader to join our Executive Board and help drive our
next phase of growth.
The Role (Volunteer position)
As Executive Board Member – Growth & Partnerships, you will drive the implementation of our growth
strategy and lead our national Partnerships and Marketing teams.
Our strategic direction is established. We are now looking for someone who can turn opportunities into
results, strengthen our partnerships and help Female Ventures grow sustainably.
You will work closely with fellow Executive Board members, national team leaders and our city teams to
strengthen our reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Growth & Innovation
- Drive the execution of Female Ventures’ growth strategy and priorities.
- Bring understanding of Dutch trends and ecosystem of organizations advancing women’s careers
- Identify and develop opportunities to expand our reach, engagement and impact in The Netherlands.
- Explore innovative programes, collaborations and revenue opportunities.
- Work with the Executive Board to support long-term organizational and financial sustainability.
- Partnerships
- Lead the national Partnerships team, providing strategic direction, priorities and support.
- Develop and oversee our partnership strategy, including sponsorships, strategic collaborations and
venue partnerships. - Guide the team in identifying, developing and securing valuable partnerships.
- Ensure partnerships deliver measurable value for Female Ventures and its partners.
- Marketing
- Lead the Female Ventures Marketing team through the Marketing Director.
- Ensure marketing and communications support Female Ventures’ strategic priorities and growth
ambitions. - Strengthen our positioning, visibility and engagement with members, partners and stakeholders.
- Executive Board Leadership
- Contribute to Executive Board decisions and organizational priorities.
- Translate strategic ambitions into clear objectives and actionable plans.
- Support team leaders, remove obstacles and foster collaboration across national and city teams.
- Monitor progress and ensure accountability for agreed results.

- Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, growth or related areas.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in guiding teams.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a solution-oriented approach.
- A strong professional network in The Netherlands and the ability to build valuable relationships.
- Experience translating strategic priorities into tangible results.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A genuine commitment to advancing women's professional growth and leadership.
An advantage:
- Experience in marketing or brand development.
- Experience securing sponsorships or developing strategic partnerships.
- Previous Board or nonprofit leadership experience with volunteers.
- Familiarity with Dutch nonprofit governance.

Commitment
This is an unpaid, volunteer Executive Board position requiring approximately 2-4 hours per week, with a
minimum commitment of two years.
