Asako Osedo: Inclusive Design

This workshop seeks to address the question: “How can we promote inclusive design, even slightly, under typical business constraints of limited time and budget?” Participants will receive and work with an inclusive design toolkit. After the workshop, this toolkit can be applied in your business practices to foster inclusive design in your environments – whether in the workplace, through products, or services. Let’s learn, discuss, and engage with the concept of inclusive design together!

Marisa “The Marketing Doctor” van Velzen: A Brand Lab

Does thinking about your competition make your blood pressure rise? Feeling cramps in your stomach when trying to convince prospects to buy? Are you getting a migraine having to discuss your pricing again? Don’t worry: Marisa the Marketing Doctor will see you now!

Be sure to join the Build Your Brand & Boost Your Business workshop to learn what the magic of good brand positioning can do for your B2B startup or scaleup, beyond the usual marketing strategies you hear everywhere.

In the workshop, you’ll dive in with practical questions to challenge yourself and discover what could make your marketing & sales a lot easier, with fresh insights and tips from Marisa. And with some work, you just might come out with a crisp new pitch that will help you shine brighter!

Charles has a passion for creating equitable, sustainable, and societally beneficial companies and initiatives. His work with Holland Park Media focuses on creating media for NGOs, governments, and social enterprises, while his work with Grace Hopper focuses on building frameworks for a more equitable future within organizations.

Joanna Olszanska: Initiating a Wave of Change

Whether you’re running your own business or part of an organization, you can be part of the wave for change. Have you ever wondered how you could contribute to less waste in your professional and everyday life? Join me in this workshop as I share my personal journey to a less-waste business, filled with (hopefully) humor and genuine experiences. Despite not being a born entrepreneur, I’ll discuss how I started, the steps I took, the embarrassing moments, the pivots, and why I persevered. Discover what YoYo does, with real examples from our work with clients, and the unique approach we take. Then, let’s shift our focus to the environmental impact you can make. Together, we’ll explore what concerns you, identify the smallest steps you can take for change, or perhaps you’ve already taken significant strides and want to inspire others— the spotlight is yours.
