Hi lovely ladies,

Are there anyone with VC/Angel Investor experience? I co-organize Startup Weekend Amsterdam that will take place in rent24 Bridge Building on March 29-31 and we are in need for one female judge with this background on Sunday March 31st.

Who are we looking for, and what is the commitment?
We are for the first time focusing on encouraging female entrepreneurship and also working towards a gender equality, therefore we have decided to have 50/50 on our volunteers for mentors as well as judges. Therefore, we would like to have one female angel investor/VC who can be part of our judging panel.

The judging panel will consist of four judges, two female and two male. Together with a judge from Startupbootcamp and a judge from Techstars/Arcadis, you will evaluate the presenting teams’ pitches according to specific criteria and then ask Q&A. After all pitches the four judges will decide on the top three winning teams.

The judges only need to be there on Sunday evening from 5:30 – 8:30 PM. As this is a volunteer event, we can unfortunately not pay you, however, you will be supporting our local startup community and all these aspiring entrepreneurs, and hear lots of great pitches! Delicious food and drinks will be provided!

Startup Weekend is a worldwide event where in the course of 54-hours aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their idea and form a team to bring their idea into creation of a protype/MVP. This is a 100% volunteer run event, and we have mentors who come and help coach these teams with their business ideas and get ready for a final pitch in front of a panel of judges on Sunday evening.
