Female Ventures Amsterdam is proud to present the very first webinar, organized in partnership with Antler, with two amazing speakers. Please join us digitally on the 25th of June at 5 pm to hear and get inspired by the stories of two female entrepreneurs Sabine Fäth and Joanne Goh.

Keynote speakers

• Sabine Fäth is a Hamburg-based journalist and founder of SCRIBERS[HUB] – the write choice!. She worked for over 15 years as editor-in-chief of women’s magazines (Laura, Alles für die Frau, Tina, Bella, Für Sie). Due to the declining print market, staff cuts in publishing houses and the increasing amount of freelancers and remote workers she quit her job and founded a matchmaker platform, a kind of „parship for writers and clients” in order to find the right writer in the right moment for the right story. Over 1500 freelance copywriters, authors and journalists are members of a verified quality-network. Fäth’s mission: clever content needs clever minds!
• Joanne Goh from Vellum.ink is an Architect from Singapore, whose portfolio spans a broad range of work, from private villas to nursing homes. Last year, she quit her job and moved to Amsterdam in search of ‘exploration and inspiration’. She inadvertently became what she calls a ‘reluctant entrepreneur’, working with two other co-founders to create a software that overhauls the slow and traditional process of property development. She is a humanist at heart, and loves listening to people’s stories. On a professional level, she is motivated by driving efficiency and making sense of complexity. Joanne’s mission: Humanising data management!

Why did you change your attendees model from free to paid? The €1,5 per person entrance fee is to cover some of our organizational costs, like the hosting of our website, costs of the events, and marketing. On occasion we do receive sponsorships, but that does not cover all of our costs.
