About the event

This evening, our two speakers will take you along on the road that led to their current positions. Their stories about the opportunities and challenges they faced, will benefit you in shaping your future road!

We are happy to share that ABN AMRO will be hosting this event. This full electric (i.e. no gas) and highly sustainable building has been rewarded with a BREEAM-NL Excellent certificate will definitely add to the inspiration.

Our first speaker Margot Potman is Sector Director Retail of ABN AMRO. After fulfilling a variety of (management) positions, she is currently responsible for all of the bank’s Dutch commercial customers in the Retail industry with a turnover up to EUR 250mln. How does she lead 7 teams, take on additional internal and external roles ánd finds time to spend with her family (3 kids) and excercise? She will also share her advise when you have the ambition to climb the corporate ladder!

Our second speaker Rianda van der Veen, Work and Organizational Psychologist and founder of companies MasterMama and MasterMynd, will be talking about the switch from working for an employer to being self employed. How do you know that being an entrepreneur fits your personality and talents? It all starts with knowing your own qualities and pitfalls.

Before, in between, and after the keynotes, there will be great moments to connect to each other and share experiences. Drinks and small bites are included.

Invitation for whom?
All ambitious women who want to grow (further) professionally and want to help others grow, are welcome. Whether you have a long track record at a large corporate, whether you are a student, an entrepreneur since long or just starting. Young, young of mind, experienced or less experienced. Men are most welcome 🙂

Why we changed our attendee model from free to paid?

The € 5.00 per person entrance fee came about as a result of your feedback. We learnt that you prefer a ‘per event’ fee rather than a full year membership fee. The fee contributes towards catering (drinks & nibbles) & some of our organizational costs like the hosting of our website & marketing. On occasion we do receive sponsorships, but it does not cover all of our costs.
Speakers offer their time for free.
