About the event

Female Ventures is on a mission: women supporting women to reach a next level in their career. And we would like to invite YOU to become part of our community in formation.. We believe you are a great addition to our network and know you recognize the power of females in business. Therefore, we welcome you to the kick-off event of Female Ventures 2.0 Rotterdam.

This Thursday we have a ‘ Food for Thought ‘ theme featuring Renate de Klein (cofounder Sharp Sharp) and Lisanne Buik(cofounder Van Chefs) two female founders in the food sector who will share their challenges in entrepreneurship with you.

Invitation for whom?
All ambitious women that want to grow (further) professionally and will help others grow, are welcome. Whether you have a long track record in a large corporate, whether you are a student, an entrepreneur since long or just starting up. Young, young of mind, experienced or less experienced.

Renate de Klein; After graduating from Art academy as a graphic designer she started freelancing for over 8 years until she realized she missed something in her work. She decided she wanted to travel the world but postponed her travels for Sharp Sharp. A foodbrand she created with her partner. www.sharpsharp.nl

Lisanne Buik; Founded vanchefs.com, a booking platform for local chefs and foodtrucks, right after graduating at 23. She didn’t really feel at home in this tech world and decided to sell her business to a food distributor and had to accept the ‘failure’ to make this into a sustainable success. Currently she’s working on her new startup Catching Fire and she’s writing a book. www.lisannebuik.com
